In their words - 99% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes flourish on a flint and iron oxide plateau unique to Saumur, amidst unparalleled biodiversity in the region. The wines are aged in oval concrete tanks and horizontal stainless steel tanks, similar to those used for Belgian beer! The result is stunning; such finesse is rare in Cabernet, along with that sparkling quality that is the hallmark of Guillaume & Adrien Pire.
