Warramate Pinot Noir 2025
In their words - Fermented in small batches with varying levels of whole bunch inclusion, from none to 100%, adding layers and lift to the final wine. Hand plunged throughout fermentation before gentle pressing and gravity transfer to a combination of 300L hogsheads and 228L barriques. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter in the cool underground cellar.
Heady aromas of cherry, blackberry, vanilla and violet florals lead into a glossy, silky palate. Generous fruit is balanced by savoury complexity from whole bunch inclusion, helping to temper the richness while adding lift and structure. Fine but persistent tannins provide shape and length, carrying the wine through a long, balanced finish.
Made to be enjoyed young and bright, this Pinot Noir is drinking beautifully now and will continue to evolve with careful cellaring for up to five years.
