The 2023 Mimsy Chenin Blanc Spritz by Jauma Wines is sourced from Lulu Lunn's organically farmed vineyard in Blewitt Springs. The 25-year-old east-facing Chenin vines grow in deep white sand on clay soils at an elevation of 120 meters. After destemming, the grapes undergo a two-day skin fermentation before being pressed to tank over winter and bottled with 4g/L residual sugar. The resulting wine is fresh and bright, boasting a textural mouthfeel with notes of melon and citrus, accompanied by a light spritz. With an alcohol content of 12%, it's best served cold. Like all Jauma Wines, the Mimsy Chenin Blanc Spritz is crafted with zero additions or filtration, and bottled under crown seal to ensure perfect freshness and stability.
