Ghost Rock La Filles Chardonnay 2022

Single vineyard Chardonnay from cult Tasmanian wine producer; Ghost Rock. A rich and textural expression with aromas of Meyer lemon, fresh cream, and a hint of almond. Well-integrated oak is perfectly balanced while maintaining a fresh line of acid.

Grapes are lightly pressed and allowed to settle, juice is racked off heavy solids, and fermented with a mix of wild and selected strain yeast. The wine undergoes malolactic conversion and is halted 2/3rds of the way through, to retain natural acidity and crispness. Aged for 11 months in 40% new French oak.
