Ox Hardy Chardonnay 2021

The 2021 Ox Hardy Chardonnay is from two mature vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, one just west of the Oakbank racecourse, the other in the shadows of Mt. Torrens. The fruit was fermented in older French oak barriques and hogsheads, and 20% in stainless steel. Malo-lactic fermentation was induced in both barrel and tank. The finished wine spent 10 months total in barrel before blending and bottling in early April 2022.

Pale straw in colour. Aromas of Stonefruit, flint and white pepper. Elegant and structured cool-climate Chardonnay. Cashew, croissant and clotted cream.
