2021 Lowestoft La Meilleure Chardonnay

Chardonnay sourced from coastal vineyards across Tasmania; 45% Coal Valley, 25% Tasman Peninsula, 25% East Coast and 5% Tamar Valley. Hand picked and whole bunch pressed before fermentation and 9 months of maturation in French oak. 

The soils contain fossilised oyster shells, and the aroma reflects that with beguiling wafts of sea spray, minerality and zesty grapefruit. The palate carries that salinity along with roundness from the oak.
