2020 Loosen Barry Wolta Wolta Riesling

Made in partnership between Erni Loosen and Jim Barry Wines. Five tonnes of premium fruit were identified from their notable Lodge Hill Vineyard. The grapes were left to hang on the vine for an additional week compared to the rest of the Riesling harvested by Jim Barry, allowing extra sugar and flavour development as the fruit ripened on the vine.

Once picked, it was sent to a huge 2800L German foudre to ferment and rest on lees, then transferred to stainless for an additional year before release.
