2022 Troppo Cabernet Franc

Produced by Ochre Wines, Troppo is Unico Zelo's answer to Australia's agricultural excess. Taking what most would consider 'leftovers' and making affordable, delicious wines with minimal intervention and biodynamic practices.

This Cabernet Franc straddles the line of being exuberant young drinking alongside classic and varietally true - it's like an Alfa Romeo in vinous form. Classic blackberry and ripe cherry fruit, a whisper of that green peppercorn Cab Franc thing, and the inescapable Clare Valley eucalypt character. A great deal of fun.
