Farrside by Farr Pinot Noir 2021

100% Pinot Noir from the Farrside vineyard, planted in 2001 only 300 metres from Sangreal. Though the grapes are hand-picked two weeks later, which makes for a more masculine and edgy wine.

The 2021 vintage has a similar texture to the Sangreal, but the profile is darker, with a denser fruit expression. The aroma is tight and ripe with cherry and dark plum fruit, with a hint of wood and earth. This wine is complex, and begs to be analysed by the glass.
