2019 Chateau Loirac Médoc Cru Bourgeois
Chateau Loirac Cru Bourgeois is Medoc blend of predominately Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a dash of Petit Verdot. It’s very ‘claret’ like and just on medium bodied showing classic Bordeaux aromas and flavours of lead pencil, dried herbs, graphite, and rich essency cassis wrapped in attractive cedary French oak and flinty smoky minerality. Very impressed with this and happy to find a Bordeaux that you don’t have to hock your car to enjoy. It’s an honest wine. And just lovely to drink.
