2016 Yarra Yering Dry Red No. 2

95% Shiraz, from the original 1969 plantings and a sprinkling from vines planted in the 1990s. 2% Mataro, 2% Viognier and 1% Marsanne planted from 1984 to 1995. Harvested by hand and destemmed with as much whole berry retention as possible. Aged in 30% new French oak for 12 months before blending and bottling.
