2016 Yalumba FDR1A Cabernet Shiraz

70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Shiraz from the Eden Valley, matured in 29% new French oak barriques for 14 months. An intriguing wine with expressive complexity, aromas of fresh woodland Cedar and blue fruits are joined by complex earthy tones, blackcurrant, bramble and chocolate. An elegant and generously flavoured wine that is succulent with a rich core of dark berries and smooth chocolate coated tannins.
