SOMOS wines are made by the community driven Mauricio Ruiz Cantú, who's working history begins in Spain, obtaining his qualifications in Adelaide, making wines in Mexico and now finally, pushing boundaries in South Australia.
Working primarily with lesser-known, climate-appropriate Italian and Spanish varieties, and make them in entirely unconventional ways, with a lo-fi and sustainable ethos. There is a strong focus on biodynamic and organic fruit, as well as vineyards that are part of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia (SWA).
