2023 Fleet Dixon's Creek Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay sourced from Sutherland Estate in Dixon's Creek, Yarra Valley. Planted in 1995 at an altitude of 200 meters, the vineyard's south-facing aspect provides a naturally cooler growing environment. This Chardonnay showcases a lovely core of ripe orchard fruits, complemented by a refreshing acidity and plush texture. Notes of yellow stone fruits, smoky almonds, and flinty minerality add complexity, with a citrus backbone contributing to its powerful and salivating length. Crafted with minimal intervention, the wine underwent whole bunch pressing, fermentation in neutral puncheons, and lees stirring before bottling. With its vibrant profile, this Chardonnay can be enjoyed now or cellared for 5-10 years.
