2012 Frerejean Freres Cuvee des Hussards

Named for Napoléon Bonaparte's cavalry, the first soldiers practiced in the art of sabering. A blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, the 2012 cuvee is known as a reference point for other vintages. The wine is bright with notes of citrus, the perfect aperitif, or dessert.
