Whispering Angel Rose

Whispering Angel is Provence rosé with its best shirt on, polished, pale and dangerously easy to love. Made from Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Vermentino, it comes from carefully selected vineyards across the Côtes de Provence, on clay and limestone soils.  That signature barely-there pink colour leads into wild strawberry, white peach, citrus blossom and a little stony minerality. The palate has more texture than you might expect, with juicy red berries, nectarine and a subtle touch of spice. Everything is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, keeping the fruit bright, clean and beautifully fresh, with a zesty line of acidity. A little time on fine lees with regular bâtonnage adds that silky, rounded feel without taking away from its crispness. Bone dry, smooth and wonderfully balanced, with freshness running right through the middle. It’s easy-going Provence rosé on the surface, but there’s plenty of clever winemaking underneath.
