Rimauresq 1er Classe Rose 2024
Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Massif des Maures, this historic Cru Classé estate produces rosé with elegance, personality and an unmistakable sense of place. A delightful blend of traditional Provençal varieties, led by Grenache and the wonderfully distinctive Tibouren, delivers a wine that's as charming as it is sophisticated.
Delicate aromas of fresh strawberries, white peach and summer flowers mingle with hints of wild Mediterranean herbs and a gentle mineral edge. The palate is beautifully poised, with juicy red berries, subtle stone fruit and a lovely chalky texture bringing everything together. Bright acidity and a refreshing saline character keep things wonderfully lively, while the wine's gentle fruit concentration adds just the right amount of generosity.
Certified organic vineyards and thoughtful winemaking allow the purity of the fruit and the character of the landscape to take centre stage. The finish is long, dry and effortlessly elegant, with lingering citrus, delicate herbs and a whisper of minerality. A seriously lovely Provençal rosé that proves there's plenty of substance behind that pretty pale pink colour.
