Louis Latour Aloxe-Corton Domaine Latour 2023

Aloxe-Corton sits at the meeting point between the Côte de Beaune’s elegance and the firmer structure of the Corton hill. Louis Latour uses estate-grown Pinot Noir and traditional French-oak maturation to capture both sides of that personality.

Black cherry and raspberry bring depth, violet gives a lifted top note, and clove and earth fill in the savoury detail. The tannins are firm but polished, stretching the wine into a long, measured finish. Serious Burgundy, certainly, but not one that keeps its charm under lock and key.
