Chatto Killara Farm Pinot Noir 2023

Lovingly grown by Gill Christian and Todd Goebel at their Brinktop Road vineyard in the beautiful Coal River Valley, 2023 is the second release from this unique vineyard. A blend of two Pinot clones:  two thirds of 115 and the rest MV6. The wine has notes of dark and brooding berry fruits with a touch of spice, tension and perfumed dried herb. The Killara Farm is a muscular style of Pinot Noir with the fruit depth and layers the Coal River is so well known for.

Critics thoughts - Single-vineyard pinot noir from the Coal River Valley 'Killara Farm' vineyard of Gillian Christian and Todd Goebel. Such a pretty-smelling wine. Ripe macerated plum and cherry fruits, flecked with high tones of jasmine and citrus blossom along with hints of exotic spice, amaro, a whiff of watermelon and earthen nuance.
