Beautiful Isle Peacock Pinot Noir
Hailing from two vineyards nestled alongside the Tamar River, this is a beautifully fragrant expression of cool-climate Pinot with elegance, charm and plenty of personality. The nose is an absolute delight, bursting with delicate violets, rose petals and wild strawberries, alongside hints of earthy spice and gentle French oak.
On the palate, it's all about gorgeous red fruit, with juicy Bing cherries, ripe raspberries and satsuma plums taking centre stage. A touch of whole-bunch fermentation brings an extra layer of savoury intrigue, while natural fermentation and thoughtful oak maturation allow the fruit to shine. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity keep everything beautifully balanced, creating a wine that feels both delicate and wonderfully expressive.
There's a lovely earthy undertone that gradually unfolds in the glass, revealing more complexity with every sip.
The finish is long, smooth and savoury, with lingering red berries and a gentle flourish of spice.
Much like its namesake, this is a Pinot that starts elegantly before spreading its feathers and revealing something rather spectacular.
