In their words - Pale straw with green hues. Intense aromas of fresh lemons, grapefruit and limes with some floral notes and a hint of fine dried herbs. A long, rich palate reminiscent of lemons, limes and fresh rosemary. The wine finishes with soft natural acidity which balances the flavour and minerality that is delicious now or will reward medium to long-term cellaring.

Critics thoughts - What a beautiful example of Eden Valley Riesling is this estate Pewsey Vale wine. The nose is intense lemon with a minerally bath salts character, while the palate has that lemon rind edginess, balancing the deeply intense, linear and focused fruit that emerges from this high-altitude block. The winery has had this single focus for over 175 years, so it’s fair to say the results are evident. Now a top spot for growing riesling, the pioneering estate was the first to plant vineyards in Eden Valley, Australia. With several styles of riesling available, it’s only natural to start with Pewsey Vale’s Estate Riesling for the full picture. This bottle maintains consistency in every vintage, expressing the iconic terroir.
