Koerner Cannonau Grenache 2021

Winners of the 2019 Young Gun of Wine award, the Koerner brothers bring life to Old Vine Grenache from their Gullyview Vineyard, Watervale. This years Cannonau is light, bright and juicy. Atypical for a Clare Valley Grenache, a kick of spice with a chaser of flintiness.

Grapes were hand harvested and destemmed, retaining 50% whole berry with no whole bunch. The juice spent 2 weeks on skins before ageing for 12 months in Slavonian oak foudre. Unfined and unfiltered.
