Moreau’s one-hectare parcel sits within the lieu-dit of Chapelot, which is separated from the Grand Cru Les Blanchots by a narrow ravine. The vines cover two contiguous plots, one 50 years old and a second, recently replanted parcel. This is a concentrated, layered, rocky wine—somehow seductive yet incredibly earthy and mineral. Matured in a combination of old wood (30%) and tank, it’s medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated yet with good tension and structured around racy acids, with ample chalky extract and a long, sapid finish. It derives from a parcel just next to Raveneau’s.”

92-94 points, Kristaps Karklins, The Wine Advocate

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0570/6393/2110/files/moreau_naudet_chablis_1er_montee_de_tonnerre_market_wine_store.jpg?v=1767426259
https://marketwinestore.com.au/products/domaine-moreau-naudet-1er-montee-de-tonnerre-chablis-2024-magnum
